Maggie Murray is an instructor at Lenoir-Rhyne and formerly served as director of online and non-degree admission, where she was responsible for recruiting and enrolling students pursuing online undergraduate degrees or taking courses as non-degree students.
Previously, Murray worked in the community college system for 14 years. During this time, she served as an instructional designer, director of student life and engagement and athletic director. She found her passion for supporting students and colleagues through coaching, advising, training and high-fiving.
Murray has many family connections at LR. Both grandparents (1940s) and mother (1974) graduated from LR. Murray and husband, Paul, reside in Hickory with their two dogs Blue and Birdie. Her many hobbies and passions include skiing, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, fishing, biking and sitting by a fire.
