Program Overview

This program combines the strengths of online learning with the engagement of a traditional residential experience. Through professor-driven, student-centered instruction, you will examine the current state of health care and explore your role in health sciences education, clinical practice and service to patients, clients and communities. The Doctor of Health Science program equips graduates with the knowledge, skills and expertise to address complex challenges in both health sciences education and health care delivery.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet Lenoir-Rhyne’s general Graduate School admission requirements, including submission of official transcripts and all required application materials. In addition, admission to the Doctor of Health Science program requires a completed master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must also hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a health science-related field.
